Spare parts administration |
Our group provides components and parts supplied centrally.
Now that just-in-time supply is losing its primacy, our group’s larger customers are seeking cost-efficient solutions to centralise purchasing of hydraulic components/parts. They intend to achieve this through outsourcing or other "supply chain management" techniques.
One of the solutions consists of our group, in its role as a supplier, setting up stock pooling or stock management through system contracting. Thanks to increases in scale, standardisation and optimisation of order lines, the supplier is assumed to have the necessary tools in-house in order to shop around on the customer’s behalf for attractive prices. Relieving the customer of the administrative burden will generate a cost saving effect for him. Faster delivery and response times are of prime importance to this.
It order to achieve faster delivery and response times, the group has the latest communication technology and a sufficiently large IT infrastructure at its disposal, to enable stocks to be held for third parties. The following criteria for success are only a minimum requirement for our group:
- Transparency of availability,
- Avoiding duplication of stock
- Having search techniques for technical documentation available
- Matching part numbers
- Enquiries and order confirmation
- Automatic payment
